I have previously written about the body lotion which I absolutely love so now I will share my experience of this relaxing bath product.
As “Bodhi means “enlightenment”. or “to awaken” or “to understand and The Bodhi Tree which is also known as the Sacred Fig or Bo Tree, is the Tree of Knowledge and the Tree of Life, Bodhi have a name to live up to.
As well as all that the company use absolutely no from harsh synthetics such as parabens and sulphates, and Petrochemicals, Sulphates, Parabens, Phthalates, Glycols, PEGs, DEAs, Synthetic Polymers, Synthetic Fragrance or Colours, Palm Oil or Animal Ingredients. They also use no animal ingredients, apart from beeswax and honey.
Bodhi says; “Relax, unwind and soak in the euphoric aroma of Jasmine Absolute, Lavender and Vetyver. This potent brew is designed to help de-stress, soothe the mind and promote a sense of well-being.”
This is a really luxurious product. It smells absolutely wonderful, not at all artificial which is not surprising as it isn’t. To me the lavender is rather less evident than the jasmine which dominates the scent. The vetivert adds the lower deeper notes. The lavender is the relaxing element so I guess even if it isn’t as obvious the aroma must get through subtly to our senses and help us relax.
I found this a really lovely luxurious, sensual and relaxing bath product. I loved the smell, a combination of many of my favourites with the uplifting red mandarin citrus combining with sensual jasmine and the earthy vetiver. Perfection in a eco, animal and people friendly bath product.
A FEW PRECAUTIONS
Bodhi do say that because of the high content of essential oils, this may not be suitable for use during pregnancy or for very young children. If you are concerned I would check with your doctor or save buying it until after your pregnancy
Obviously it is for external use only so do not ingest, and avoid contact with eyes.
They say this should be stored away from heat and light and once you have opened it use it within six months to enjoy it at its best. I can’t see this being a big problem for us.
WHERE TO BUY AND COST
You can buy this from Bodhi’s website and For 250 ml of product you pay £23 but it is packaged beautifully and looks a luxurious product.
I would thoroughly recommend this as a luxury bath product and it would make a great gift for someone too as the packaging is neat and simple yet looks classy. I think this is a lovely, high quality bath product great for the evening bath. I think the scent is not only relaxing but also a very sensuous one too. I will say it is a bit expensive if you are on a limited budget but you do get a quality product for your money.
